Publish and manage voice sequences

Publishing creates a version of your saved draft for new production calls. Open Sequences to manage the sequence and its versions.

Prepare a publication

Review call entries, prompts, data fields, audio, destinations, and fallback paths. Complete preview checks and real-call testing for the changed behavior.

If a number is bound to the sequence, keep its selected entry available and compatible with empty incoming data. A publication that breaks a retained binding is refused. Change the number route first when retiring its entry.

Save and publish

Finish open field edits and select Save draft.
Select Publish and review the saved revision.
Add an optional version note describing the change.
Confirm publication and inspect the result.

Publication checks the definition and referenced resources again. If it reports blocking problems, correct them, save, and retry. A previous successful check does not reserve an audio asset or guarantee publication.

New production calls use the active version when the sequence is enabled. Calls already accepted keep their frozen version and input. Later draft edits do not change those calls.

Publishing clears the draft tester list. Publishing a paused sequence leaves it paused; resume it when it should accept production calls.

Restore earlier content

Open Versions and select a publication.
Review its definition and publication details.
Select Restore to draft and compare it with the current saved draft.
Confirm restoration, then check and preview the restored draft.
Publish when you want new calls to use it.

Restoring content replaces the draft after review. It does not change the active version. If another editor saved meanwhile, review the newer revision before retrying.

Pause, archive, or duplicate

Action	Effect
Pause	Stops new production admissions. Already accepted calls retain their snapshots.
Resume	Re-enables an unarchived sequence with an active publication.
Archive	Disables new production admissions and moves the sequence to the archived view.
Restore	Returns an archived sequence to the current view, still paused.
Duplicate	Copies the saved draft into an independent, paused, unpublished sequence without testers, versions, or runs.

Save edits before duplicating if they should be included. Pausing is separate from canceling an existing run. Explicit test calls remain available for paused and archived resources.

Delete a sequence

Disconnect or replace number routes that refer to the sequence first. A retained binding can block deletion even when its number is disabled.

Select Delete permanently from the management menu and review the permanent-deletion confirmation. Deletion hides the resource and its detailed run history, stops new admissions, and requests cancellation of admitted runs. Cleanup continues after acceptance.

Deletion does not undo a completed call or business effect. Call records, recordings, billing records, and aggregate sequence statistics have separate lifetimes. Use archive when you need reversible retirement.
