WhatsApp phone numbers

Bird provides managed phone numbers and pre-approved templates. No phone-number setup is required for template sends.
Preview: Connecting your own number through Embedded Signup is available only to eligible workspaces.
Bird selects a sender by template category and region. Authentication templates use a dedicated authentication number. Utility and marketing templates use a notification number. The send request has no from field. See Category and sender.
The Numbers page lists the managed numbers available to the workspace and, when eligible for the Preview, any number connected through Embedded Signup. The from field in the send response and message log identifies the number used for a message.
Contacts can reply to these numbers. Bird records inbound messages in the WhatsApp log, and the Inbound tab on the Metrics page reports received volume by number.
