  1. Register the MCP server

    Run the Gemini CLI command above to register Bird’s hosted MCP server over HTTP. If a Bird plugin has already registered the server, keep that existing connection.

  2. Authorize your Bird account

    Start the MCP sign-in flow in Gemini CLI and approve access in your browser to link your Bird account and workspace permissions.

  3. Install Bird agent skills

    Run the skills command in your project directory so Gemini loads Bird workflow guidance for CLI operations and email deliverability checks.

  4. Verify workspace access

    Ask Gemini to confirm your active Bird account and workspace before running channel tasks. Returning your workspace details confirms that browser authorization succeeded.
