Overview
Zapier connects apps into automated workflows called Zaps: something happens in one app, and steps run in the others. The Bird app is listed in Zapier's directory, so a Zap reaches Bird's channels without an HTTP block and without an API key changing hands.
What the Bird app does
Five actions send and verify. Send Email, Send SMS, and Send WhatsApp Message cover the channels, template or free-form. Start Verification and Check Verification Code run a one-time passcode end to end, so a Zap can send a code and confirm the one the recipient types back.
One trigger, New Event, starts a Zap from any of Bird's public webhook event types: an email delivered or bounced, an inbound SMS, a WhatsApp send that failed, a sending domain that finished verifying. Zapier registers the webhook endpoint for you, and every delivery is signature-checked before the Zap sees it.
Forty-three searches read records back into a Zap: email messages, their events, recipients, stored content and attachments; inbound email down to the raw MIME; SMS messages, events, templates, keyword rules and suppressions; WhatsApp messages, events and media; voice calls; sending domains and their events; SMTP configurations; webhook endpoints and their delivery attempts. Email and SMS statistics get one search each, returning counts and rates rather than per-message records.
Connecting
Search for Bird in the Zap editor and click Connect. You give consent in Bird rather than pasting a key, and the connection Bird creates belongs to the workspace rather than to the person who authorized it, so it survives them changing teams. The region is carried by the credential, so nothing asks you which one you are in.
Connections are listed on the Integrations page in your Bird workspace, along with the access each was granted. Revoking one there stops every Zap built on it.
One limit applies to the trigger rather than to the app: Bird's webhook endpoint quota starts at one per organization while Zapier issues each Zap its own target URL, so one Zap at a time can use New Event until support raises the quota. Actions and searches are unaffected.
