Bird vs Warmy for email deliverability
Choose the deliverability job first: measure inbox placement, diagnose a sender problem or change a sending practice. These tasks need different evidence and should not be collapsed into one score.
Where Warmy fits
Warmy presents email warmup and deliverability tools. Compare the specific workflow you plan to use with measurement, sender authentication and sending-infrastructure controls.
Read Warmy documentation ↗Where Bird fits
Bird Inbox Insights combines placement observations, seed tests and reputation views with your sending data. Dedicated-IP warmup and domain authentication address separate parts of the sending setup.

| Capability | Bird | Warmy |
|---|---|---|
| Warmup model | Use dedicated-IP warmup when ramping traffic on Bird sending infrastructure. | Connected-mailbox warmup sends through your own mail server or mailbox provider. |
| Monitoring | Run seed tests and inspect placement and reputation for verified domains. | Evaluate the deliverability tools used alongside the warmup process. |
| Sending account | Send application email through Bird or evaluate a separately retained sender. | Connect through SMTP/IMAP or provider OAuth; Seed List sends use your existing email platform. |
| Migration scope | Map the required measurement and sending process; preserve old reports. | Inventory mailbox-specific activity that still needs its own implementation. |
Run the same customer journey
Use the same authenticated domain, content, sending route and time window for a controlled evaluation. Record seed-pool differences and actual recipient outcomes. A seed inbox rate is a measurement of those mailboxes, not a guarantee for every subscriber.
Start the working example ↗Make the switch deliberately
Start by recreating the measurement baseline in Bird and retaining old reports. Do not change the sending provider, IP, content and audience at once; that makes it difficult to attribute the result.
Migrate from Warmy ↗Questions before switching
Does a seed test guarantee inbox placement?
Is inbox placement the same as delivery rate?
Should I change my sender when changing monitoring?
