Founder & CEO
Robert Vis
Robert founded Bird as MessageBird in 2011 and bootstrapped the company for its first six years. He leads Bird’s evolution into communications infrastructure for the agent economy.
His focus is on what happens when AI moves from generating answers to taking action, and on building the infrastructure that makes that possible at global scale.
Previously, Robert was CEO and cofounder of mobile payments platform Zaypay. He is also a cofounder of the People for People Foundation.
