Receive incoming emails and route them to your app.

Turn incoming emails and customer replies into support tickets, order updates, and AI agent workflows without running your own SMTP servers or MIME parsers. Bird accepts mail on your domain or a forwarding address, extracts the message body and attachments, and routes each event to your webhooks.

Trusted by engineering and product teams
shipping at global scale.

Let your AI agent read and
summarize incoming replies.

Give your AI agents and support tools direct access to incoming customer emails through Bird MCP. Agents can look up the latest reply to an order or support thread, read the parsed body and attachments, and summarize or resolve the request using live order data.

Extract parsed bodies and attachments
from verified senders.

Skip maintaining custom MIME parsers. Bird extracts HTML and plain-text bodies, headers, and file attachments while checking SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication so your application can verify the sender before processing a request.

Download the unmodified raw MIME source when your compliance, security, or archival pipelines need the original payload.

Receive customer replies and
route them into your app.

Route replies from your domain or a forwarding address straight into your app, complete with message content and attachments.

Match every incoming reply
to the right ticket or order.

Stop losing customer responses sent to no-reply addresses. Route shared addresses like tickets@ or invoices@ and plus-addressed reply tokens straight to your webhook, and use message reply headers to attach incoming emails and attachments to the exact support ticket, CRM thread, or order.

Inbound email, explained.

Do I need a domain to receive email?

No. You can start immediately with a Bird-generated forwarding address and forward mail from an existing inbox like support@ or invoices@ with zero DNS changes. When you want to receive mail directly on your own domain or subdomain, point its MX records to Bird.

Does the webhook include the whole message?

Inbound webhooks deliver the sender, recipient, subject, headers, and message reference immediately so your endpoint stays fast even when customers send large files. Your app can then fetch the parsed text or HTML body, download individual attachments, or retrieve the raw MIME message on demand.

How long are received messages retained?

Bird retains received emails, parsed bodies, and attachments for 30 days. For longer conversation history or compliance archiving, fetch the message content or raw MIME from your webhook handler and store it in your own database or object storage.

Scale without losing control.

Separate production and sandbox traffic into dedicated workspaces, scope API keys to the exact channels each service or agent needs, and track permission changes in the audit log.
