Launch a useful WhatsApp campaign

Prepare an eligible audience, approved message, response handling and measurable business outcome.

Prerequisites

A connected sender, an approved marketing template, an audience with the required permission, and a team or workflow that can handle responses.

1. Define the outcome and audience

Choose a business result such as an order, a booking or a qualified enquiry. Define the eligible audience using current preferences and relevant customer context. Record the segment logic and suppression rules, and review permission again close to the send.

2. Prepare the complete creative

Select the approved language and fill every parameter with a useful value. Review the image, body and action together with the destination. Confirm the offer, availability and follow-up are consistent. A campaign sends individual conversations; it does not create a shared group.

3. Review the account and market

Check the sender’s quality, limits and the account’s Marketing Messages API onboarding. Follow the current market and recipient rules. The marketing template guidance explains onboarding and supported optimizations; an eligible account is not the same as an onboarded one.

4. Rehearse the response

Send a controlled example to an eligible recipient, complete the next action and inspect the resulting conversation. Rehearse an unexpected reply, unavailable product and request for a person. Assign the campaign’s incoming questions before expanding traffic.

5. Measure and improve

Join campaign identity to replies and confirmed business events. Reconcile Bird and applicable Meta charges against billing records. Compare delivery, reads, qualified actions and value separately, with a defined observation window.

Troubleshooting

If a message is refused, inspect the recorded category, language, sender and provider error. Do not retry a suppressed or ineligible recipient as though it were a transport failure. If replies arrive without useful context, inspect the supported identifiers and the application state used to continue the task.
