  1. Install the plugin

The command installs Bird’s plugin in ~/.gemini/config/plugins/bird, where Antigravity loads it in every workspace. The plugin adds the bird-cli and email-audit skills and registers Bird’s MCP server. Run it again to update. If Bird is not listed under Customizations afterwards, restart Antigravity.

  2. Authorize the connection

Open Customizations in the sidebar (Agent Settings in the IDE) and click Authenticate next to Bird. Complete the browser sign-in, paste the authorization code back into Antigravity, and click Submit.

  3. Check the account

Ask your agent to call whoami and inspect the current workspace before the first product task. A returned identity confirms the sign-in worked.

A few good places to start.

Give your agent the outcome. Let Bird provide the operations.

Understand a delivery issue
Check my recent email failures. Group them by reason, inspect the affected sending domain, and tell me what needs fixing before making changes.
Prepare a new channel
Help me set up SMS for order updates. Check my workspace and available senders, explain what is missing, then prepare a test for a number I provide.
See what is happening now
List the Voice calls that are active right now. Separate connected calls from calls that are still ringing, and show their IDs.

Before your first task.

The details that make a connection useful.

Does connecting MCP give my agent unrestricted access?

No. The tools operate within the permissions you hold and choose to delegate during authorization. You can revoke the connection from your Bird account.

Do I need an API key for hosted MCP?

Hosted MCP uses browser sign-in. An application you deploy separately uses its own protected application credential.

What if the tools appear but calls fail?

Check the client’s authentication state. Registering a server URL alone does not sign you in. Reauthorize Bird, then confirm your identity and workspace.

Keep building. Everything connects. Take the next step with the tools and guides for your project.
