The rules, handled in one place.

Prepare the sender and the permissions your campaign needs. Manage US 10DLC, toll-free verification, country registrations and supported opt-out keywords with Bird. Read the current status and destination requirements before launching traffic.

A conceptual checklist. The sender program and customer permission are separate decisions.

The Bird SMS platform connects sender registration, destination requirements and sending controls. Choose the program that applies to your number or brand identity, then check approval and current customer preferences before sending.

Which regime applies to me?

Registration depends on the destination and sender. Customer consent and opt-out handling are separate controls that remain part of the sending workflow.

Prepare the registration. Follow its status.

Prepare the relevant registration in Bird and track its status. Some actions require supporting information or an explicit submission. Configure the supported keyword behavior for the market and keep consent, suppressions and workspace preferences connected.

Questions about registration and sending

Which registration applies to my sender?
A US long code uses 10DLC for application-to-person messaging. Toll-free messaging has a separate verification program. Other country registrations depend on the sender and destination. Read the requirements for the sender you plan to use.
Does registration replace customer consent?
No. Sender registration, customer permission and current opt-out status are separate checks. Preparing an approved sender does not grant permission to message every contact.
How do I know the sender is ready?
Read its country requirements, registration status and whether the destination is enabled. Complete the next actions Bird reports before launching the traffic.
