WhatsAppTemplates
Create WhatsApp templates worth opening.
Build reusable messages for useful updates, relevant offers and authentication. Bring the copy, language, media and actions into one preview, then follow the approval and sendability of each language.
One idea, a carefully prepared message
EXAMPLEExample template. Check approval for the language you plan to send.
From idea to message
Start with the customer’s next decision.
Choose a purpose and category, write a concise message and use the template gallery to explore a suitable format. AI can help draft a variation; your team reviews the promise, parameters and action before submission.
Keep the useful detail visible
Show the order, appointment or offer in plain language. Use media when it explains something the text cannot convey as well.
Make the action specific
Let the customer view an order, choose an option or continue the conversation. Avoid a vague button that conceals the destination.
Approval by language
Know which version can actually send.
Submit the intended languages and follow Meta’s verdict for each. The category and approval applied to the selected language determine its sendability; a template-level label alone is not enough.
Define language selection
Choose whether a recipient must supply a language. Where fallback is allowed, configure an approved default and test exact, base-language and default resolution.
Handle a missing language deliberately
Use the fail policy when an alternative would be inappropriate. Review missing parameters and unsupported translations before a campaign reaches the queue.

Reuse without losing control
Keep authors, applications and campaigns aligned.
Use the dashboard, CLI or MCP to manage the same template resource. A developer integration and a marketer’s preview should refer to the same approved content.
Keep ownership clear
Connect the template to its WhatsApp Business Account and use a sender belonging to that account. Access to another business’s assets does not transfer ownership.
Respond to changing quality
Watch provider feedback and status changes. Pause affected journeys, correct the cause and use an eligible alternative only when it fits the customer’s permission.
