What if the chaos of countless disconnected tools could be replaced by the simplicity of one?

This question sparked a decade-long journey to reimagine how businesses connect, communicate, and grow. Here's where it all began.

Over ten years ago, we launched MessageBird with a bold vision. While others relied on licensing technology from established industry players, we decided to take a different path—rebuilding the telecom stack ourselves, piece by piece. That approach allowed us to become one of the world’s largest providers of business SMS, email, and marketing solutions. In Asia, we broke new ground as the first to connect platforms like Kakao, Line, and WeChat into a single API. Before long, we combined over 800 APIs into one seamless platform, revolutionizing global communication.

As our platform grew, so did our understanding of what businesses truly needed. Whether it was marketing, HR, or sales teams, they all shared the same goal: connecting with people and driving results. Yet, the tools they relied on were fragmented and overly complicated. This realization sparked a pivotal idea: what if it didn’t have to be this way? What if it wasn’t a hundred different apps, but just one?
With that insight, we reinvented ourselves.


MessageBird became Bird.

We set out to create a single solution that connected applications and streamlined processes across entire organizations, giving businesses a unified view of their operations and unlocking new levels of efficiency.
