bird mcp
Usage
Code example
bird mcpDescription
Run the Bird MCP server on stdin/stdout, so MCP-aware hosts (Claude Code,
Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code) can call Bird as tools.
This command is a server, not a query: it deliberately bypasses the CLI's
JSON-output contract. stdout speaks the MCP protocol for exactly as long as
the host keeps the process alive; diagnostics go to stderr. It authenticates
with the same credential as every other command: a bk_ BIRD_API_KEY when
one is set, otherwise your stored login. Run bird auth login first if you
have neither; revoking either cuts the server off too.
Register it with your MCP host as command "bird" with argument "mcp", e.g.:
claude mcp add bird -- bird mcp
