bird mcp

Usage

Code example
bird mcp

Description

Run the Bird MCP server on stdin/stdout, so MCP-aware hosts (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code) can call Bird as tools.
This command is a server, not a query: it deliberately bypasses the CLI's JSON-output contract. stdout speaks the MCP protocol for exactly as long as the host keeps the process alive; diagnostics go to stderr. It authenticates as your existing login — the same credentials file as every other command — so run bird auth login first, and revoke that grant to cut the server off too.
Register it with your MCP host as command "bird" with argument "mcp", e.g.:
claude mcp add bird -- bird mcp
