A recognized stop keyword or carrier opt-out blocks future sends from that specific sender to the recipient. When a customer asks your support team to stop texts altogether, you can add a manual sender suppression through the API or dashboard, or record a workspace-wide preference that blocks outbound texts from any number in your workspace.
