Get a call-ready trunk with a guided checklist.
Instead of guessing why a test call failed to connect, the browser phone checks your workspace setup before dialing and links directly to any missing step. Create a call-ready SIP trunk in one click with outbound calling, session credentials, and MD5 digest support preconfigured, then select a Bird number or verified caller ID and an enabled destination country.
Ring your team when a customer calls.
Route a number to a ring group and Bird rings the group's online members in the dashboard, five at a time, until one of them selects Accept. An incoming call plays the ringtone you picked (there are five) and shows a system notification with the caller's number and contact name. Set yourself to Busy to keep placing calls without being rung, and manage ring groups in the dashboard or over the API, SDKs, CLI, and MCP server.
Connect with short-lived tokens and in-call controls.
Going online signs the browser in with a short-lived session credential that the phone renews in the background, so no long-lived API key is stored on the client. Pick your input microphone and switch devices mid-call, select a speaker output in Chromium browsers, and send DTMF tones from the on-screen keypad or your keyboard to navigate IVR menus and extensions.
Inspect completed legs and rejection reasons right away.
Browser calls run through the same carrier routing and billing pipeline as your PBX traffic and appear immediately in the shared leg log with SIP response codes, answer timestamps, and billable duration. If a call is refused before reaching a carrier, the phone window surfaces the exact check that failed. The browser phone does not hold or transfer calls or reach emergency services, and reloading the page rejoins an answered call, placed or received.
