Common questions about connecting Grok Bot to Bird.

Does adding the Bird plugin give Grok Bot unrestricted access to my workspace?

No. The connector and tools run within the workspace or organization permissions you hold and choose to delegate during browser sign-in, and destructive operations prompt for confirmation before running. You can revoke access from Connected apps in your Bird profile.

Do I need an API key to connect Grok Bot to Bird?

No. The Bird connector uses browser OAuth sign-in to Bird’s hosted MCP server. To route incoming customer messages to a Grok Bot routine, you paste the routine’s webhook URL and sender key into a Bird webhook.

How do I remove the Bird plugin from Grok Bot?

Open the Bird listing in the Grok Bot Marketplace and select Uninstall to remove the hosted MCP connector and both included agent skills. You can also revoke the OAuth grant from Connected apps in your Bird account.

Can I use the same Bird plugin in Cursor?

Yes. Installing the Bird plugin from the Cursor Marketplace adds the same hosted MCP server and agent skills for CLI operations and email authentication audits to your editor. Set up Cursor
