Sends use an approved Apple business ID and the conversation’s opaque customer ID. JSON reads are paginated; mutations accept flags or --body-file.
Reads return JSON; list is paginated. Mutations take flags and/or a --body-file JSON body (flags overriding); run --example to print the body shape or --dry-run to preview the request.
Procedure
Reply to an Apple Messages conversation
Reply as an approved business to a conversation the customer opened. Acceptance queues the message; sent means Apple's gateway accepted it, not device delivery or a read receipt.
Requires: The sender must be an approved business in the authenticated workspace. Use its apple_business_id as from, not its Bird record ID.
Requires: The customer must have opened a conversation with that business. Use the conversation's opaque_user_id as to, not a phone number. The conversation must be open and the recipient unsuppressed.
Requires: Review the exact business, recipient and content before sending. Reuse the same idempotency key when retrying the same request.
