Am I buying a number or renting it?
The table shows recurring monthly rental per number. Setup, registration and usage charges are separate. Shared numbers allocated by Bird can have different rental terms.
What changes the rental price?
The destination and number type affect the published rental. Choose a country and compare the number types available in the table.
Does rental include SMS or Voice usage?
A number rental does not include the SMS segments or call minutes you use. Check the corresponding channel pricing for the traffic you plan to send and receive.
Are there setup or registration costs?
Some number types or use cases require registration or setup. Review the requirements and applicable fees before ordering a number.
Can I order a short code through the API?
Short codes require allocation by Bird and cannot be ordered through the numbers API. Contact Sales to discuss availability and the terms for your use case.
Does a price mean a number is available immediately?
Published pricing is separate from number inventory and eligibility. Availability, required documents and supported capabilities depend on the destination and number type.
