When should you choose Bird?
Choose Bird when you want the calling connection, routing and operational records alongside your existing Bird workspace. Use sequences for defined call behavior, or connect the conversational application you want to operate. Validate the complete workflow you need before replacing a dependency.
Can I keep a Telnyx AI assistant unchanged?
A Telnyx assistant is configured in Telnyx’s runtime. Moving a number or SIP connection does not copy its model, voice, tools or conversation settings into Bird. Decide whether to retain that runtime through a compatible connection or replace it as a separate integration.
How should you compare the full cost?
Start with the same destinations, call directions and expected duration. Include number rental, each connected leg, recording or transcription, and the speech and model runtime your design uses. A telephone-minute rate and a managed AI-conversation rate include different work; compare the total workflow.
What does a careful migration involve?
Inventory Voice API call actions, webhook handlers, SIP connections and AI Assistants. Record model, speech, dynamic-variable and tool dependencies separately from the numbers and carrier connection.
Map the behavior
