Analyze delivery and engagement metrics for WhatsApp messages
Once you've sent your WhatsApp campaign, Bird will automatically collect and analyze data on its performance. This guide covers how to access WhatsApp campaign reports and interpret the available metrics.
The Overview tab provides a high-level summary of your campaign, including:
Total – Total number of messages in the campaign.
Queued – Messages waiting to be sent.
Sent – Messages that have been sent.
Delivered – Messages confirmed as delivered.
Failed – Messages that could not be successfully sent.
In the Performance section, you can view how the campaign performed over time.
Use the date picker to choose a custom range, or select a pre-defined timeframe.
Check the top-right corner of the graph to see when the data was last updated.
The Details tab provides information about how the campaign was set up:
Campaign type – Type of campaign, such as Broadcast.
Channel – The platform used, such as WhatsApp.
Sender – The phone number the campaign was sent from.
Recipients – The audience or list that received the campaign.
Campaign status – The current status (e.g. Processing, Sent, Error).

You can track user-level engagement across the following metrics:

Clicked – Recipients who clicked a link in the message.
Failed – Messages that were not successfully sent.
Skipped – Recipients that were excluded from the send due to eligibility issues (e.g., opt-outs or invalid numbers).

Provides more detail about why specific messages failed. This can include carrier errors, invalid phone numbers, opt-outs, or temporary issues like connection timeouts.
If conversion tracking is set up, this tab provides insight into how your campaign influenced downstream actions such as purchases or sign-ups.
