Step-by-step guide
Create your first AI employee
- Open the AI hub from the left-hand menu.
- Go to the AI Employees section.
- Click New AI employee to start the setup flow.
- Choose a LLM connector to power your AI employee (e.g., select OpenAI).
- Click Create agent to proceed.
- Personalize your AI employee:
- Edit the name and avatar.
- In the Profile tab, adjust the display name, biography, avatar, and select a contact to base its personality on.
- Customize the AI's personality:
- Set the tone to Neutral for balanced interactions.
- Adjust the tone slider to fine-tune its voice.
- Set guidelines to control AI behavior:
- Add guardrails to define boundaries.
- Configure abandonment settings to manage customer handovers.
- Connect a knowledge base to boost your AI's capabilities.
- Choose specific actions for your AI employee in the Actions menu.
- When ready, click Publish draft to launch your AI employee.
