The public API does not return this code. It comes from Bird's other surfaces, such as the dashboard, the CLI, and the MCP tools, which link here when the error occurs.
What to do
Meta verifies your business in Meta Business Suite, on the business portfolio that owns this WhatsApp Business Account. See https://bird.com/en-us/docs/knowledge-base/whatsapp/business-verification for what Meta asks for and how to submit. The decision is Meta's alone: we cannot approve or accelerate it. Once Meta verifies the business, allow up to a few hours before you create the template again, because we re-read the verdict from Meta periodically rather than at the moment you ask. Marketing and utility templates are unaffected and can be created meanwhile.
