In this guide, we'll show you how to set up and send your first push notifications marketing campaign.

What you'll need

• Install a push notifications channel within an application configuration.
• Push Notifications message template.

Step 1: Start a New Campaign

• Go to:Marketing Dashboard > Campaigns

• Click:Create Campaign

• Select Channel:Choose Push Notification from the channel list

Step 2: Set Campaign Details

• Add a Campaign name: e.g., "Welcome Series – App Install"

• Add relevant tags: Add tags like welcome, promotions, or retention to organize campaigns

• Choose your Recipients:

• Select one or more lists or segments

• You can suppress specific lists if needed

• Set maximum recipient count to limit reach (optional)

Click Continue to content

Step 3: Configure Message Content

• Send from: Choose the push notification channel
• Select template: Choose pre-approved template; edit and preview available
• Click Continue to Review

Step 4: Final Review and Test

• Check total recipients
• Review message content
• Send a test message (choose Simulated Contact)

Step 5: Launch Your Campaign

• Schedule: Choose future date/time and timezone
• Send now: Click Send Now for immediate delivery
