Why are my bounce counts different when looking at Metrics vs calculating from events?
Bounce count differences can occur due to several factors:
Events report all bounces as a Bounce event with a corresponding bounce classification.
Metrics separates out Admin Bounces as a separate metric to the Bounce metric
Timing Differences:
Metrics are processed and aggregated in real-time
Events may have slight delays in processing
Time zone settings can affect how data is grouped
Categorization:
Metrics and events may categorize bounces differently
Some events may be rolled up in aggregate metrics
Certain bounce types may be filtered differently
