# Send the code. Confirm the number.

Deliver a managed passcode by SMS and check the answer in your application. A successful check confirms control of the recipient.

## A code received. A recipient confirmed.

Bring the verification into your sign-in flow. Collect the code, check the answer, and help the customer continue.

Illustrative product records. These controls change the example only; no request or purchase is made.

## A text delivered. An answer still to check.

Deliver a verification code by text message.

### Resolve an eligible SMS route.

Supply the phone number in international format. Country configuration defines the available channels; per-request channel options can narrow or reorder that plan, but cannot add an unavailable channel.

### Use the managed code message.

Bird generates the passcode and enforces its lifetime and attempt limits. Sender presentation follows the selected identity and the destination’s number or brand-name requirements.

### Check the full recipient identity.

Submit the code with exactly the recipient set used at creation. Read success and reason from the check response, then let your application decide the appropriate account action.
