Can I try the travel bag at your studio?

Of course. Would you like to find a time?

Origin

City studio entry point

Illustrative entry point and customer-initiated conversation. Available entry points depend on business and device setup.

## A product question should start with the product.

Put a Messages entry point beside the thing the customer is asking about: a product, a store or an existing service request. Bring that starting context into Bird so the opening question and the team handling it make sense.

Connect customer-initiated conversations from your website and app, and prepare your business for supported Apple discovery surfaces. A studio page can lead to local availability; a product page can lead to advice about the item already on screen.

## Build the route behind the button.

An entry point works best when it has a defined purpose. Connect the link, opening context and service destination, then measure what customers do after the conversation starts.

### Choose the customer’s moment

Place the entry point where a question naturally arises: product detail, appointment information, contact pages or a service journey. Explain what help the customer will receive and keep another contact route available where appropriate.

### Set the intent and destination

Associate the entry point with the relevant business, intent and service group. Keep campaign attribution separate from the routing context, so your team can understand both where the visit came from and what the customer needs.

### Let the customer send the opening message

Use a useful suggested message where supported. The customer reviews and sends it in Messages; opening the composer alone does not start the same exchange as receiving their message.

### Connect the origin to an outcome

Follow the conversation from its entry point through the customer’s task. Compare product questions, location inquiries and service requests on their own terms, then improve the entry point or response that needs attention.

## Discovery that matches the service you offer.

### Prepare your Apple presence

Review business identity, location details and the customer experience as part of registration. Apple controls discovery eligibility and presentation, so verify the surfaces your business will use during launch review.

### Keep an invitation as a separate path

When a customer has explicitly opted in to continue a defined service in Messages, use the approved invitation flow. Keep its template approval and customer response distinct from a customer-initiated website or app entry point.

## Entry points questions

### Does clicking the Messages button create a completed conversation?

No. Distinguish opening the Messages experience from the customer sending a message and completing the intended task.

### Can we add entry-point context?

Use the supported context fields to route the request and understand the entry-point cohort. Keep credentials and sensitive account data outside public URLs.

### Can Messages replace a phone queue?

Offer the supported messaging path for a suitable service task and prepare the team behind it. An invitation after an IVR choice is a separate, opted-in workflow.

### Will an Apple conversation identify the customer’s account automatically?

No. Resolve and verify the customer relationship through the appropriate account flow before exposing protected data or authorizing changes.
