## A useful signal. A customer’s choice.

Find address issues before attempting a send.

### Keep the original address.

A spelling suggestion is a possible correction, not permission to rewrite the recipient. Ask the customer which address they intended and check the changed address again.

### Read more than the score.

Interpret the verdict, reason and flags together. A catch-all domain can leave the mailbox uncertain, and a role address may call for a different sending policy.

### Separate quality from permission.

An address-quality result does not establish consent or prove that the customer controls the mailbox. Use a verification flow when recipient control is required.
