# eSIM connectivity guide

Build a connectivity journey around the service your customer needs: travel data, a recurring mobile plan, employee connectivity or an embedded offering. An eSIM profile carries the mobile identity; the selected package or subscription defines what the customer buys.

## Choose a journey

- [Offer travel data](/docs/guides/esim/travel) for a trip with defined coverage and validity.
- [Plan a recurring mobile service](/docs/guides/esim/mobile-plans) for continuing data, calls and SMS.
- [Roll out employee connectivity](/docs/guides/esim/employee-connectivity) through your HR and IT process.
- [Embed connectivity](/docs/guides/esim/embedded-connectivity) in an app, account or membership.

## Prepare the evaluation

[Check device and coverage requirements](/docs/guides/esim/device-and-coverage), then agree the offer, funding and purchase authorization before testing. Follow the existing order through fulfillment, [install the profile](/docs/guides/esim/installation), then verify the included service on the device.

Read the [integration guide](/docs/guides/esim/api) before implementing API calls. For a provider transition, start with the [Gigs migration checklist](/docs/guides/esim/migrate/gigs).

## Operate after purchase

Keep the order, profile and package references together. Review [usage and compatible top-ups](/docs/guides/esim/usage-and-top-ups), and use the [operations guide](/docs/guides/esim/operations) when a customer needs help. Confirm the receiving service before planning a [number port](/docs/guides/esim/number-porting).
