# `bird workspace mtls certificate-authorities delete`

## Usage

```bash
bird workspace mtls certificate-authorities delete <certificate-authority-id> [flags]
```

## Description

Client certificates that this CA issued can still pass for up to 15 minutes. Removing the last CA while the mode is `evaluating` or `enforced` returns 409, so set the mode to `disabled` first with `bird workspace mtls update`.

This is destructive and cannot be undone; pass --yes to confirm.

## Examples

```bash
bird workspace mtls certificate-authorities delete <id> --yes
```

## Options

#### Safety

| Name                | Description                                                  |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `--idempotency-key` | Deduplication key; a retry with the same key won't act twice |
| `--yes`             | Confirm the action (required; the CLI never prompts)         |

#### Options

| `--dry-run` | Print the resolved request without sending it, then exit |
