# `bird whatsapp numbers repair`

## Usage

bird whatsapp numbers repair <number-id> [flags]
```

## Description

Call this only on a `failed` number whose `next` names `bird whatsapp numbers repair`. Repair re-drives only a few failure reasons, and a number with nothing to re-drive is refused with `E15075`. Do not call it on a `preparing`, `pending`, `awaiting_signup` or `connected` number, and follow `next` for any other failure. Repair a failed verification a few hours after `pre_verification_requested_at`, because WhatsApp throttles a number asked again sooner. A business-verification refusal has no wait, but each attempt spends one of the number's limited registration attempts, so fix the cause at Meta first.
