# `bird assets uploads complete`

## Usage

```bash
bird assets uploads complete <upload-id> [flags]
```

## Description

Checks the staged file and publishes it through the media library. Returns the saved result on retry, including when the result asset later becomes unavailable. Complete only after the PUT succeeds.

## Procedure

Step 2 of 2 of "Upload a file to the media library". Previous: bird assets uploads create.

## Examples

```bash
bird assets uploads complete <id>
```

## Options

| Name                | Description                                                  |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `--idempotency-key` | Deduplication key; a retry with the same key won't act twice |
| `--response-schema` | Print the fields this command returns, then exit             |
