# `bird assets delete`

## Usage

```bash
bird assets delete <asset-id> [flags]
```

## Description

Removes the library entry while its public URL continues serving existing content. Repeating deletion is safe. This operation does not revoke access to the file.

This is destructive and cannot be undone; pass --yes to confirm.

## Examples

```bash
bird assets delete <id> --yes
```
