# `bird amb attachments download`

## Usage

```bash
bird amb attachments download <attachment-id> [flags]
```

## Description

Download and decrypt an Apple Messages for Business attachment by its aat\_ ID:
one a customer sent, one you sent, or a file you uploaded. Bird serves a received
attachment from its own copy when it has one, even after expires\_at; otherwise it
downloads the attachment from Apple.

The bytes are written to --output when set, otherwise to stdout:

bird amb attachments download aat\_123 --output receipt.pdf

## Examples

```bash
bird amb attachments download <attachment-id> --output receipt.pdf
```
