# Delete an identity

`DELETE /v1/compliance/identities/{identity_id}`

Retires a party so it no longer appears in your list or prefills a
registration.

Registrations already filed with it are untouched, and so are the verdicts they
earned: a review already given stands whether or not the party is still listed.
